Physical Address Howto


Windows NT/2000/XP

  • From your windows desktop select "Start" and then select "Run" similar to the picture below

  • In the Run window type in "cmd" and select "OK" to bring up the command prompt

  • You should now see a window like the one below

  • Type in "ipconfig /all" and hit the Enter key

  • You should see output similar to the below picture

  • Record the details for the line marked "Physical Address .....:",
    (e.g. - Physical Address .....: 00-2F-2A-FF-CA-36)
